Those behind terrorism should be unmasked: Iraqi cleric

“Islamic clerics should unveil the measures perpetrated by those behind terrorism,” said one of the prominent Iraqi clerics, Ayatollah Sheikh Fazel Maleki, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

“The regime of Zionism is a cancerous tumor in the region which was not formed to occupy a land, but to trigger seditions among Islamic Ummah,” said the religious cleric.

“The regime of Zionism was always after forwarding terrorism in the region,” said Ayatollah Sheikh Fazel Maleki, stating that the main powers also support the regime so as to fulfill their willful objectives.

The religious cleric urged Muslim nations to be aware of plots hatched by the regime of Zionism and plunder their assets.

“It is the duty of Islamic scholars to warn the youth of the precarious situation,” said Ayatollah Fazel Maleki.
“The regime of Zionism is after purging the roots of resistance, but resistance is getting stronger, paralyzing the regime,” said the religious cleric stating that Israel is doomed to failure and Muslims can triumph in the long run.

The Israeli military unleashed aerial attacks on Gaza in early July and later expanded its military campaign with a ground invasion into the Palestinian territory.

Over 2,130 Palestinians lost their lives and some 11,000 were injured in the raids. Tel Aviv also says 68 Israeli soldiers have died in the war, but Palestinian resistance movement Hamas puts the number at more than 150.
