'Iran seeks to enlighten the world Muslims': Larijani

Speaking in the opening ceremony of first international Conference of Islamic World Scholars in Defense of Palestine Resistance, Majlis Speaker, Ali Larijani said, "Forming the Union of the Islamic Resistance can be literally effective in reasoning out the issue of Palestine."
The political said the Islamic Republic of Iran is not after the monopoly of the region and stressed, "Islamic Republic of Iran is just after providing the ground for brotherhood in the Islamic Ummah, seeking to enlighten the world Muslims about the plots hatched by the enemies."
Larijani went on to add, "the suggestion offered by Ayatollah Araki about forming the Union of Resistance Clerics can be one of the practical roadmap for reasoning out the issue of Palestine," reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
"The story of Palestine is a sad story and there stand so many lessons in it," said Majlis speaker, stating that the West’s main objective to create the Zionist regime of Israel is to cause rift and undermine unity among Muslim countries.
"By studying the past events, we can understand that the issue of Palestine is not limited to one geographical spot, " the political analyst mentioned.
The political face underlined that Muslims should identify the aim behind forming the regime of Zionism.
"The theory behind forming the regime of Zionism was not just forcing Palestinians out of their lands, the philosophy behind such story was increasing dispersion and obstacling the process of upholding unity among Muslims," he said.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the religious cleric beckoned to the existence of some countries in the region which are under the spell of the arrogant world and underlined these governments provided the ground for west to penetrate in the Islamic World.
It is worthwhile to note that clerics and scholars from different countries partake in the event, sitting at talks over the standing problems and setbacks Muslims are mired in.
Regarding the place and status enjoyed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, mounting such gathering and event can be influential in the region.
A number of 143 religious clerics and 75 political, educational and Jihadi experts have been invited to this conference. The first international Conference of Islamic World Scholars in Defense of Palestine Resistance is held on September 9-10 in Iran Capital City of Tehran. /SR
