All the people around the world are concerned about the humanitarian tragedy going on in the Gaza Strip, Afkham said, voicing concern over the restrictions on sending medical aid to Gaza and the spread of diseases in the besieged Palestinian territory.

Lashing out at the Zionist regime for continuing the massacre of civilian people in Gaza, Afkham said the conditions set by the Palestinian Resistance for ceasefire are completely based on the basic rights of human beings.

The spokeswoman stressed the necessity to help reconstruct the battered territory and to prevent the Zionist regime from throwing obstacles on the way of sending humanitarian supplies to Gaza Strip.

She called on the UN Human Rights Council to hold inquiry on crimes against humanity in Gaza perpetrated by the Israeli authorities and provide a fair and sound report so that international tribunals can quickly prosecute the Zionist regime for breaching human rights and the Geneva Conventions.
