Justice minister leaves for Baghdad

Justice Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi left Tehran for Baghdad at the head of a delegation from the justice ministry to hold talks with the Iraqi officials.

During the visit which is taking place at the invitation of Iraqi minister of justice, he will discuss issues of mutual interests with his Iraqi counterparts.

Implementation of an agreement signed by the two countries on the extradition of prisoners are on agenda of Pour-Mohammadiˈs Iraq visit.

In addition to his Iraqi counterpart, Pour-Mohammadi will review bilateral ties in separate meetings with other senior officials of Iraq including Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and speaker of the Iraqi parliament.

Meanwhile, President of the General Inspection Organization Nasser Seraj arrived in Baghdad today to attend the Second International of Anti- Corruption Assembly slated for April 9-10 in the capital.
