Ayatollah Abbas Ali Soleimani:

“Shia and Sunni will stand against terrorism.”

Following a recent terror attack in Sistan and Baluchestan, representative of the Supreme Leader in the Iranian Southeastern province said Shia and Sunni will join to stand against terrorism.
“Shia and Sunni will stand against terrorism.”
Grand Ayatollah Abbas Ali Soleimani, Shia Friday prayer leader in Zahedan, denounced the terror attack in border areas which led to martyrdom of 14 Iranian guards and said such attacks are conducted by those ignorant people who do not distinguish the right from wrong, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Ayatollah Soleimani attended the funeral ceremony for the victims of this terror attack and noted the joint participation of Shia and Sunni people in the event.

He vowed a unified counter-terrorism move by followers of Islamic denominations and urged Shia and Sunni clerics to unanimously denounce such heinous measures.
