“Shia in Sweden” published

Co-authored by two prominent Swedish professors, the latest book on the field of Islam relates on the situation of Shia community in the European country of Sweden.
“Shia in Sweden” published
“Shia in Sweden” is the name of the book, joint effort of David Thurfjell and Goran Larsson, prominent university professors recently published for Swedish speaking communities, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

According to public relations at Iran’s Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations, part of the book is on the situation of Shia community residing in Sweden.

The book refers that the first group of Shia Muslims entered the country from Uganda settling in Trollhattan.

Another part of the book runs,” According to a survey conducted by the government the country has been house to almost 170’000 Shia though the number according to Shia associations exceeds 250’000 most of them migrants from Lebanon, Iraq, India, Pakistan and Iran.”
