Attacking Iranian consulate is a violation of international law

Ali Al-Qaradaghi, the Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars condemned the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus and described it as a violation of international law.

 The cleric stated: One of the crimes of this regime is the continuation of the genocide of civilians with brutality and the killing of seven aid workers affiliated with the World Central Kitchen.
 
Al-Qaradaghi emphasized that this action is a dangerous criminal act based on international humanitarian law. Also, destroying the Iranian consulate and killing and injuring all those who were there is also against international laws.
 
He further added: We strongly condemn the policies of the Zionist enemy and call on the whole world to create deterrents and obstacles against all these Nazi crimes and genocide, which in the course of six months have caused the collapse of all the principles and values that the West has always supported and accused Muslims of not observing them.
