Islamic Unity Conference to support holy Qur’an in face of Islamophobia

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said a major topic in the 37th Islamic Unity Conference will be support of Qur’an in the face of recurring desecration of the holy book of Islam.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in response to Taqrib News Agency (TNA) correspondent at press briefing of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference said the participants to the annual event will discuss the new wave of Islamophobia in blasphemous acts against the holy book of Islam.
 
He said the major event will be sidelined by an international exhibition in two sections: cultural products from across world of Islam and Qur’an-based works of art.
 
Top cleric said a number of participants will focus their speeches in support of Qur’an and reiterating the issues related to the holy book.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari said the best Qur’anic works of art will be displayed at the opening ceremony of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference on October 1st.
 
The 37th Islamic Unity Conference has been scheduled to be held on September 28- October 3 in two sections of online and in-person meetings.
 
More than 110 intellectuals, religious figures, prayer leaders and top officials will attend the event organized by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
