Prayer leader of the Sunni community in Kermanshah, western Iran, warned of desecration of Islamic sanctities stressing Islamic unity as key to survival of the Muslim world.

Mamusta Molla Abdul Rahman Moradi, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) called on Muslims to identify and eliminate divisive elements in the world of Islam.
 
He said,” He who fuels the division between Shia and Sunni Muslims is not a Muslim rather, consciously or unconsciously, is a puppet at service of foreign intelligence.”
 
Prayer leader of the Sunni community in Kermanshah noted that the first mission of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was to build unity in society and that led to expansion of Islam across the globe.
 
Senior Iranian cleric warned of the outside players and some states for targeting the prevalent solidarity in the world of Islam.
 
He stressed,” Shia and Sunni are rooted in the same principle and their disagreements should not pave the ways for infiltration of the enemies in Muslim world issues.”
 
Mamusta Moradi hailed a fatwa (religious statement) by the Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khamenei banning desecration of Sunni sanctities and said the recommendation should be constantly maintained.
