Unity Week, suitable forum for dialogue among world Islamic scholars
Hujjat-ul-Islam Al-e Kasir, taking about emphasis made by the holy Quran on the unity among Muslims said, there are numerous verses in the holy Quran encouraging unity among Muslims and advise them to avoid discord, conflict and disagreement in order to gain respect and glory, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He added: Maybe some people are thinking of combining all religions into a single one, which is not possible at present time. At present, our goal must be to create practical unity, that is, proximity, and the goal is not to pull people out of their own beliefs and attract them towards ourselves, which is almost impossible, but God willing, this objective will materialize by the Savior of the human world, Imam of the Age (May God hasten his reappearance).

He said: Many of the issues that have caused division and separation among Islamic Ummah have been the lack of meetings between Muslim scholars and dignitaries in thinktanks and seminars to discuss and resolve conflicting issues, because the common people are not familiar with complicated subjects and the Unity Conference is an appropriate venue for proximity of the Islamic Ummah.

Hojjatoleslam Al-Kasir added: Scholars should come together in a peaceful atmosphere and raise these issues and resolve them otherwise talking of controversial issues will bring further conflict among the Muslim Ummah.
