Professor of Qom seminary: The only danger that threatened the Revolution and Islam was division and discord, and one of the most important elements that prevented its overthrow, was the unity.

Ayatollah Seyyed Nooruddin Shariatmadar Jazayeri, in an interview with Taghrib News Agency (TNA), while congratulating the occasion of Unity Week and the eve of the birthday of the Great Prophet of Islam (SA), said: Unity, from jurisprudence, political and social perspective, is of great importance, because the survival of the revolution and its strength is due to unity and proximity of the various Islamic schools of thought.

He added: The enemies of Islam have always sought to undermine the Islamic Revolution, and one of their techniques has been creating discord and divisions among various branch of Islamic.

He added that the late Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Ummah, have always called for unity, both inside and outside of the country.

Ayatollah Jazayeri went on saying that the Supreme Leader saw the survival of Islam in unity and called the Muslim Ummah to stand in a united front in order to be protected from the danger strife and discord which are the main objectives of the enemies of Islam.

He finally added that: prominent Islamic personalities and scholars have been continuously trying to achieve the objectives proximity, and they have promoted unity among religions by researching in scientific schools.
