Islamic Unity Week, opportunity to draw road map for Islamic Ummah

The Head Master of Islamic School of Chanaf in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchistan hailed the International Unity Conference an opportunity for Muslim Scholars to gather and discuss the issues that are affecting the Islamic world.

Senior Iranian Sunni scholar, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) noted that by adhering to the Holy Quran and the Traditions of the noble imams and ponder about the path for the future, Muslim scholars attending the annual Islamic Unity Conference are able to exchange views on the issues challenging world Muslims.
 
Speaking on the eve of Unity Week, he said the unity of the Islamic Ummah is essential in the current situation and stated that the positions of the Islamic countries should be in line with the dignity of the Islamic Ummah adding that Muslim nations should take a firm stand against the global arrogance and avoid discord and division among themselves.
 
Moulavi Mobaraki went on saying that the Holy Qur'an, calls for unity and Proximity of the Muslim Ummah, and has encouraged the scholars of the Islamic world, as well as motivated and knowledgeable youth to produce science and knowledge to advance the cause of unity of Muslim nations.
 
He added that theological schools can also help in strengthening the unity and solidarity of the Islamic world by producing knowledge and training teachers and scholars.
