Senior Iranian cleric referred to the foreign exchange reserves said Doha does not seem to be in trouble as a result of the economic boycotting of the Arab bloc.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Gholamreza Mesbahi Moqaddam, former head of the Economic Committee in Iran’s Parliament in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related on the economic sanctions imposed on Qatar by the Saudi-led countries and said the Arab bloc are neither in possession of advanced technologies nor capable of economic supports for Qatar.
 
He added,” A part of goods demanded by Qatar were supplied by Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates which, in current situation, are substituted by Iran and Turkey; hence, I do not imagine that a serious issue will break out for Qatar.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mesbahi Moqaddam, Iran’s air space is coordinated for passage of the Qatari planes, meaning that Doha will not face a serious issue due to its foreign exchange reserves.
 
Head of the committee of Islamic pro-proximity economists addressed the countries imposing sanction against Qatar and noted,” Iranian government stresses that Islamic countries settle their issues through negotiations instead of following measures which divide the world of Islam.”
