Manifesting resolution of Muslims, objective of Islamic Unity Conference
Iranian Sunni scholar referred to objectives behind Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran counting supporting the oppressed and manifesting resolution of the Muslims as two important targets for the annual event.

Haj Abdullah Akhoond Amani, manager of Erfaniyeh Sunni Seminary, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) hailed the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for its defending the oppressed nations harassed by Takfiri terrorists and also holding annual convention to gather Shia and Sunni figures together.
Akhoond Amani referred to the positive achievements of previous Islamic Unity Conferences saying that the upcoming meeting of the group in December will certainly contribute to solving the disagreements and preventing sectarian conflicts between Muslims.
He said,” Islamic Unity Conference has had an international projection and the role of Islamic Republic of Iran, as the host of the event, ranked the country as one of the most successful supporters of the oppressed, a fact which is painful for the US and Zionist regime of Israel.”
Prominent cleric from North Khorasan Province added,” World arrogant powers and the Zionist regime have launched extremist groups like ISIL and other Takfiri (excommunication) groups as a reaction against Islamic Unity Conference and their fear of expansion of Islam in the world in a bid to underestimate the role of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in regards to promotion of solidarity in the world.”
“Islamic Republic of Iran and the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought have successfully warned the scholars and Muslim elites against hostile threats and intrigues hatched by the enemies proving that formation of extremist groups in the Islamic countries has not affected the chain of unity among Muslims.” Akhoond Amani noted.
Iranian Sunni scholar vowed that the 30th Islamic Unity Conference will certainly lead to a victory for Muslims and shame for the enemies.
He concluded that the upcoming convention will bring unique achievements on promotion and transcendence of Islam as well as boosting of the unity among Muslims.
