Proximity counteracts enemies hatched plots: Mottaki

Manouchehr Mottaki, the International Deputy at the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) highlighted, "Proximity among religions foils the machinations concocted by extremists and those seeking dispersion in the World of Islam."

On the threshold of Iran-Russia joint conference on unity and proximity in the World of Islam, Mottaki pointed out, "the event is slated to be mounted in Moscow with religious clerics, thinkers, and elites across the globe in attendance."

According to the International Deputy of Iran top unity center, the gathering has been organized by the cooperation of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought and the bureau of Russian Muslim Scholars.

Beckoned to the main objective this event is about to be centered on, Mottaki mentioned, "the conference is after rejecting extremist takes and Takfiri moves providing Muslims with the way for boosting unity of Islamic Ummah."

The International Deputy at the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought pointed to programs advanced in countering terrorist groups in the World of Islam and stressed the ground for reconvergence of Muslims had been provided.

"Headed by Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, the Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, a delegation consisted of Shia and Sunni clerics are set to visit Moscow for attending the religious event," Mottaki said.

The planned two-day conference on Islamic unity and solidarity of Muslims is to kick off in Moscow on Wednesday participated by Muslim elites worldwide.

Philosophy and religious context, Qur’an as basis of unity, logics of promoting Islamic thoughts and goodwill as move towards perfection will be the four sections forming the bedrock of the coming gathering.
