'Amicable coexistence main concerns of leaders to date'

Advisor to the Governor of West Azerbaijan in Political Affairs, Hojjatol Islam Val Moslemin Jafar Fakhr Azar in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) stressed West Azerbaijan is a perfect example of a dynamic community enjoying cultural and national diversity.
"Amicable coexistence of people from different culture has been the constant concern of leaders, politicians, scholars to date," highlighted the religious cleric stressing Islamic Republic of Iran supports the peaceful coexistence of the followers of different religions across the globe due to the democratic principles of Islam.
The religious cleric stressed to advance the set objectives in the Islamic Society a great deal of attempts had been made but Muslims had far to go to a society acceptable by the late founder of Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA) and Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
"If we want to depict an Islamic-Iranian model under the title of peaceful coexistence for our brothers and sisters from other diviner religions, then we should clean the society from religious dispersion and ethnical hatred," pointed out the religious cleric stressing Islamic thought is based on respecting different religions and principles of divine religions are the same and they have a lot in common.
"We should hold our differences in religion, sect, school of thought and language as a valuable asset and opportunity not a threat," highlighted Hojjatol Islam Val Moslemin Fakhr Azar highlighting Iran's policy is to support the expansion and strengthening of the peaceful coexistence of different religions throughout the world.
"Politics should be based on recognizing, preserving and respecting the dignity of all humans, given that, we should take the cognizance of this very fact," said the religious cleric urging Muslims to make a move for purging injustice and counter those targeting the Islamic unity in the World of Islam.
To Hojjatol Islam Val Moslemin Jafar Fakhr Azar, no religion should be subject to humiliation, and the divine religion of Islam is in its nature an anti-oppression school of thought.
