Victory of Syria ceasefire depends on supports by great governments

Implemented Syria ceasefire will be victorious only if first terrorist groups do not make use of that as a gap for arming themselves and second great governments support the truce.

Sabbah Zangeneh, political expert on Middle East issues in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related on the recent implemented ceasefire in Syria noting that the deal aimed at alleviation of violence and massacre only if terrorist groups do not make the best of the opportunity to arm and organize themselves.
 
He said,” Ceasefires in general pursue an objective though this recent deal between Syrian government and its supporters on the one hand and the opposition forces on the other pursue different objectives.”
 
He added the opposition groups and those known as terrorists are not included in this ceasefire; hence, the victory of the ceasefire will depend first upon commitment of these groups to the deal and second on support of the great powers like the US and Russia from the ceasefire.”
 
He concluded,” In general, in view of the Islamic Republic of Iran- a supporter of peace and arriving political solutions for disagreements- this ceasefire is a positive move.
