Cultural editor at IRNA, Hasan Fathali in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) on the side line of the 21st Press and News Agency Exhibition beckoned to the role of press in boosting unity and rapprochement among Islamic sects and denominations.

He urged all press and News Agency to do their very utmost so as to ensure unity against the plots hatched by enemies of Islam.

"Rapprochement among Muslims is of obligations upon religious thinkers, elites, philosophers and clerics," pointed out Hasan Fathali highlighting if media do not be active in this area, and not cover or reflect stories in proximity realm, then the attempt made with this connection would go up in smoke.

The Editor in IRNA underlined, "Our News Agency, as a part of this media system, counts covering the attempts of those who are involved in the area of unity  as its duty."

"IRNA always cover news related to the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought and try to release all news in this regard. "
