In an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), Indian University Professor Mohammad Salim placed stress on the standing commonalities among Muslims urging them to resort to these similarities instead of highlighting the minute differences.
 
“All Muslims enjoy the same Qiblah, Prophet (PBUH) and holy book,” pointed out the religious thinker adding Muslim nations from every religion can find many a parallel with other Islamic sects.
 
Mohammad Salim underscored the standing seditions in the World of Islam and Muslim Ummah stem from their differences in minute issues.
 
“Sunni cleric of India beckoned to the standing peaceful coexistence among Shiites and Sunnis in the country,” said the grand Ayatollah adding Muslim nations in the country came to practical unity and this unity can be a model for other Muslims worldwide.
 
Indian and Mauritanian delegation came to Islamic Republic of Iran so as to partake in the Shiite- Sunni intellectual assistance meeting mounted in holy Qom on the theme of “United Islamic Umman, Challenges and Mechanisms”.
 
The delegation met with Iranian clerics visiting as well religious centers including The Community of Al-Mostafa in the holy city. They exchanged views over unity related issues and problems Muslim nations are wrestling with in the World of Islam.
