Holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), eighth Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), serves free iftar meal for thousands of pilgrims. The holy month of Ramadan is ninth month in the lunar Muslim calendar when Muslims fast abstaining from eating and drinking from dusk to dawn.
