A diverse host of migratory birds from different species move toward south with cold weather approaching. Seagull, tern, ducks, little cormorant, great cormorant, mesophoyx, white stork, and purple heron are among the bird species which visit Iranian border city of Astara to enjoy the preserved water bodies of the stop.
