Slamming Chabahar terrorist attack:
Senior Sunni member at Iran’s Assembly of Experts denounced Chabahar terrorist attack stressing that hostile intrigues will not harm the intensive promotion of Islamic Revolution.
 
Molavi Nazir Ahmad, representative of Sistan and Baluchistan in the Assembly of Experts, denounced the terrorist attack in Chabahar port city which killed two police officers and warned of efforts to create gap between the people and Iranian government, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He expressed condolences to the bereaved families of victims in this terrorist attack and said,” Since the early days of Islamic Revolution, enemies have not spared any moment in promoting their hostility as it has intensified its provocative moves and launching blind attacks in a bid to destabilize the country.”
 
The cleric referred to the strategic importance of Chabahar port for Iran as a way to the international waters and said the recent terrorist attack was in line with destabilizing the region on its first leg towards economic development as foreign countries have shown enthusiasm for investment in Chabahar.
 
 
Molavi Salami referred to endeavors by the enemies to divide Iranian nation from the government urging the nation to maintain vigilance and foil the enemies’ plots.
 
“Iranian nation has achieved political maturity and is quite cautious against efforts targeting their support for the government” said the scholar and vowed that Islamic Revolution will continue its promotion.”
 
A vehicle laden with explosives went off close to a police headquarters in Chabahar, situated in the southeastern province of Sistan-and-Baluchestan killing two police officers and injuring dozens of people on Thursday. Later the so-called Ansar al-Furqan terrorist group claimed responsibility for the assault.
