“Enemies concerned over Islamic solidarity”, Iranian Sunni l cleric

Prominent Iranian Sunni scholar rejected efforts to misrepresent Islam and said enemies are fully aware of the power of Islamic solidarity; hence, they spare no effort to severe unity among Muslims.

Mamusta Mostafa Shirzadi, prayer leader of Marivan in Iran’s Kurdistan Province, said enemies are aware of the power of solidarity among Muslims stressing he who draws lines between Shia and Sunni is a dispersing factor among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

“Contrary to what some enemies have pictured, the holy religion of Islam is a religion abundant with kindness and blessings” said the Sunni cleric.

He warned of hostile efforts which aim Islamic unity and called Muslims across the globe as brothers.

“We are all followers of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), who highlighted necessity of solidarity in the world of Islam” Mamusta Shirzadi noted.

Senior Iranian scholar also praised coexistence of the Sunni community with Shia Muslims in Kurdistan and said the peaceful life of different Islamic denominations has turned to a major concern for enemies.
