On the eve of major Shia commemoration, Arba’een, book on the incidents before, during and after the Battle of Karbala is published in Iran.
“From Medina to Medina” published
The book “From Medina to Medina, Step by Step with Imam Hussein (AS) Convoy” by Ahmad Soleimani Karizmeh, is published to bring another source on the landmark in Shia history on the eve of Arba’een mourning ceremony, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The book is published in four chapters including,” Incidents before Imam Hussein (AS) exodus from Medina”, “Exodus of Imam Hussein (AS) from Medina to Mecca”, “Captivity” and “Return to Medina.”
 
The book is a reply to how is Karbala land? Who is Omar ibn Sa’ad? Safe conduct, incidents between Kufa to Levant, sermon by Hazrat Zeynab (SA), sermon by Imam Sajjad (AS), Medina people acknowledged of Imam Hussein (AS) martyrdom as the first and foremost topics.
 
Part of the introduction to the book reads,” Shia history is intermingled with a variety of incidents with the Battle of Karbala and martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions as one of the most important of them all.”
 
The author also expands the introduction to criticize exaggerated, sometimes inaccurate narratives, published by enthusiast, though not necessarily well-informed authors vowing that the present book would bring accurate precise day by day record of the incidents during Ashura.
