Senior Iranian jurisprudent called Islam as the religion of love, peace and kindness and denounced Takfiri groups for providing an inverted image of the holy religion for world people.

Ayatollah Nasser Makarm Shirazi, top Shia scholar, met with the newly appointed head of the Islamic Development Organization, rebuking the extremist groups for misrepresenting Islam and stressed Islam as a religion totally different from what Takfiri groups introduce, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to enervation of world people with materialism hailing spirituality of religions, particularly Islam, as the solution for the issue.
 
The cleric stressed accurate introduction of Islam as a key mission for the Islamic Development Organization and called for making the best of the opportunity to promote the holy religion.
 
Ayatollah Makarem warned of two groups promoting Islamophobia: ignorant people who know nothing of seminary activities and those hostile to religious promotion.
 
Senior Shia scholar also referred to morality of preachers deployed to promote Islam and said,” Missionaries should develop both cultural programs and morality among people.”
 
Islamic Development Organization was basically founded in a bid to develop true Islam and rich Islamic culture.
