Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Husseini Shahroudi, representative of Supreme Leader in Kurdistan Province, referred to hostility of enemies towards both Shia and Sunni Muslims since the holy religion is the main target, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The cleric, attending the first conference on ‘Proximity of Islamic Denominations, Opportunities, Prospects’ in Iran’s Province of Kurdistan, called Islam as the religion of guidance and insight for human being.

He said,” Victory of Islamic Revolution under the leadership of late Imam Khomeini (RA) proved the greatness of Islam and promised its prevalence of the whole world in near future.

Top scholar warned,” Our present confrontation with enemies is a soft warfare and a clash of civilizations.

He added,” The US and Israeli regime are in pursuit of promoting Zionist version of Christianity in the world; hence, we should maintain our vigilance as a means for wise confrontation with the big cultural plot by enemies.”

The cleric also warned of creating terrorist groups in the world of Islam and spread of Islamophobia as another strategy to damage the body of Islam.

“Islam is the religion of honor” said he and added,” It cannot be under domination of others; therefore, it is quite important that we make great achievements in scientific, economic and cultural grounds.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Husseini Shahroudi also counted religious misconceptions and distortion of religious principles as another way for the enemies to bring division among Muslims saying,” Enemies do not care about the denominations in their hostility towards Muslims because their main target is the holy religion of Islam.”
