Cleric calls on Muslim lawyers to investigate crimes against Yemeni nation
On the eve of Islamic Human Rights Day and amid daily violation of Muslim people in different countries, Iranian cleric has urged Muslim lawyers across the globe to sue the crimes committed against Yemeni nation.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Hassan Vahdati Shobeiri, in an interview with Hawza News, hailed Islamic Human Rights Day marked on August 5 and called the occasion as the onset for activities related to Islamic human rights and an opportunity for luminaries to propose ideas on that, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to importance of human rights in Islamic teachings saying,” Declaration of Islamic Human Rights proposed by Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is in fact a prelude for the Islamic countries to issue a declaration within the framework of human rights and humanity esteem as a collective solution for minor cases contradicting those in World Human Rights Declaration and also introducing the view by Islamic sharia.
Head of Razavi University of Islamic Studies said to name a day after the idea of Islamic Human Rights will convene the intellectuals for scientific debates and involvement of Muslim thinkers in legislative discussions in a bid to reach legal solutions for issues in Islamic states.
The cleric referred to genocide of Muslims in Bosnia, Nigeria, Myanmar and other Islamic countries and said,” At present Yemeni nation is in the Middle of shameful crimes as the infanticide and genocide of Muslims continues.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Vahdati Shobeiri called Muslim lawyers to react against violence against Muslims and added,” If Muslims take a unified measure and take the case to international courts then the hands of criminals will be severed from the impoverished Arab nation.”
