A group of guardians of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine have arrived in Abegarm, Iranian village on Afghanistan border stressing necessity of avoiding disunity between Shia and Sunni communities, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ali Asadi, Shia cleric in the visiting group from holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) stressed monotheism as the common belief of Shia and Sunni warning of enemies in pursuit of dividing Islamic denominations because dispersion is beneficial for them.
 
The cleric hailed the coexistence of different Islamic denominations since the beginning of Islamic Revolution and said,” Neither Shia nor Sunni matter for the enemies who are merely in pursuit of crimes.”
 
He called for understanding and promoting Islam away from any form of extremism and merely based on holy Qur’an.
 
Molavi Seyyed Momen Mousavi , Friday prayer leader of Nasr-eddin village in this ceremony warned of  different pretexts under which enemies follow to divide Muslims.
 
He called Shia and Sunni as two wings of the bird without one the other cannot make any moves.
 
Iranian Sunni scholar stressed necessity for boosting fraternity among Muslims and hailed Ahlul Bayt (AS) as role model for all Muslims.
 
The visiting delegation from holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) granted a badge of honorary guardian of the holy shrine to the Sunni prayer leader.
 
On the eve of birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), different groups of guardians from the holy shrine of eighth Shia Imam have begun a tour of different cities and villages across Iran sending the message of love and solidarity with different denominations and ethnicities across the country.
