“Qur’an, Astronomy and Universe” published
“Qur’an, Astronomy and Universe’ is the title for the latest book by Mehdi Peyvandzani and a group of Iranian researchers which means to shed more light on the scientific aspects of the world introduced in the holy book of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Mehdi Peyvandzani, Mojtaba Baqeri Toudashki, Ebrahim Salehi, Habib Dinarvand among another researchers are the authors who joined in writing the latest book in cooperation with astrology institution in the holy city of Qom and Iran’s Aerospace Industries Organization (AIO).

According to the book God Almighty has left these scientific facts as traces towards himself and proof for righteousness of religious teachings.

The book is written with the hope to study the Qur’anic verses on different fields of science in order to inspire unknown secrets of the universe eventually taking a step in line with promotion of scientific knowledge.

Direct quotes and views by major contemporary interpreters of Qur’an are compiled in a simple language to provide a simple understanding of the Qur’anic views on the universe.

Long before science proved gravity, holy Qur’an described the world to keep its form with an “invisible power.”  Several other instances in the holy book of Islam have later been proved by modern science including the rate of water and land on earth, facts on the position of stars and planets in the solar system and the Earth’s orbit.
