Iranian powerlifter Navid Yazdani has exhibited admirable displays of physical strength and athletic prowess at the World University Powerlifting Cup in the Czech Republic, and won a silver medal at the tournament.

On Wednesday evening, Yazdani cleared the bar at 187.5 kilograms in his squat attempt.

He subsequently lifted 145 kilograms, 152.5 kilograms and 155 kilograms in the bench press contests to finish as the vice champion.
The World University Powerlifting Cup kicked off in the western Czech city of Pilsen on July 8, and will run through July 14, 2018.
