Muslims should abide by Quran principles: Senior cleric

"Understanding Quran's teaching and principles along with their implications is a must," underlined religious cleric Ayatollah Ja'far Sobhani in a religious gathering stressing, "Role of Quran in peoples' lives should not be limited to just its recitation," reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The religious cleric lectured some certain Isalmic countries for ignoring Islamic and Quranic principles noting, "it is unlikely, without using Islamic guidance provided in holy Quran, a full united Ummah to be establish."

To Ayatollah Ja'far Sobhani and other religious jurisprudents, Muslim nations should struggle against all the odds as they follow Quran's teachings, in order to break through the standing Prejudices.

Muslims' progress, they stress, came as such a shock to their enemies which in turn led the foes to provoke conflicts in Islamic countries.

The sad truth, in above described situation, is that Muslim nations are not as united as they should be, easing the way for their common enemies to fulfill their objectives in the region.
