'Iran to stand by resistance group against terrorists'

Iranian Envoy to Baghdad, Iraj Masjedi met with Abu Hassan al-Baldawi, the senior official in the Nojaba Movement.

The Iranian envoy to Iraq, Iraj Masjedi, visited the Popular Mobilization Forces in the city of Balad discussing the standing ways and means with Abu Hassan al-Baldawi, the senior official in the Nojaba Movement, to promote the Arba’een pilgrims with Abu Hassan al-Baldawi, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

 “The Islamic Republic of Iran has always stood by the resistance groups and will back the Nojaba Movement," pointed out Masjedi.

Arba’een is the 40th day after the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (PBUH), the third Shia Imam.

People from different countries are to gather in Karbala so as to pay tribute to the grandson of Muhammad Prophet (PBUH), who was martyred along with his 72 companions in the desert plains of the city some 14 centuries ago.
