A Frenco-Saudi lobby to eliminate Lebanese resistance

Hussein Kana’ani Moghaddam, Iranian political expert on western Asia affairs in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related on reasons behind failure to form a new cabinet three months after the election due to interference of countries like France and Saudi Arabia.

He said,” A coalition government can certainly follow the management in Lebanon though there are issues, like interference of countries like Saudi Arabia and France which hinder the way. These countries are mainly in pursuit of a clearing process in the Lebanese government.

The political expert said,” The only solution is formation of a coalition government involving all parliamentary parties though the interference of Saudi Arabia and France are mainly hindering the formation of a new and efficient government in the country.”

He added,” Saudi Arabia and France are pursuing ways to move their pawns in the Lebanese government and the financial and weaponry pledges they have made are all dependent upon a faded role for the resistance in the future government.

Hussein Kana’ani Moghaddam added,” Certainly the government which does not include resistance is a government doomed to fail the confrontation with Zionist regime and terrorist groups like Daesh.”

According to the political expert resistance movement is endeavoring for formation of a mighty and efficient government against hostile threats, beneficial for the Lebanese nation.

He concluded that outside players like the Zionist regime, France and Saudi Arabia are looking for ways to weaken the resistance movement in a bid to achieve their objectives, keeping the resistance as far away from the political arena as possible to continue setting their own choices in the government.
