Saudi-coalition desperate, beefs up atrocities on Yemen

Sabah Zangeneh, Iranian political expert on western Asia affairs, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related on Saudi-coalition intensifying its attacks on Yemen’s Hudaydah calling that a desperation and mere lunacy because invasion on Hudaydah is practically attack on the defenseless people.

He warned of the Saudi-led attacks leading to massacre of civilians, destruction of service centers like hospitals, markets and residential areas.

He referred to a UN report condemning the attack against Yemeni people and said,” These are unacceptable crimes against humanity because there is no military in this city and the army centers are all outside the cities”

He added,” Saudi-coalition is trying to exhaust the people to the brink of protests and leading the cities to an uncontrollable situation.”

He warned that intensification of Saudi-coalition recent attacks on Yemen’s Hudaydah will be followed by nothing but famine, equipment scarcity and epidemic diseases. According to the Iranian political expert, based on international laws security and protection for civilians is the priority.

Sabah Zangeneh also said,” Saudi Arabia did not make it to seize Hudaydah even with the contributions made by the United States, UK, France and United Arab Emirates.”

He noted that Ansarullah, popular forces and Yemeni army tend for security of the civilians and stressed the warring sides should admit presence of UN forces and humanitarian organizations in Hudaydah in order to fairly divide the limited outcome made through the Customs Office in the port city as this will make a slight alleviation to sufferings of the people.
