On the wake of the controversial US embassy move to Jerusalem al-Quds, Iranian top cleric has called Palestine as the land of prophets (PBUT).

Aytaollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, senior advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim World Affair, in an interview conducted on the sideline of 26th international Qur’an exhibition in Tehran called Palestine as the land of prophets (PBUT) and vowed the liberation of occupied lands when Muslims increase their affinity with the holy book of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He urged Muslims to boost their unity and vowed the victory of Muslims, liberation of Palestine in near future.
 
Alluding to a Qur’anic verse on necessity of unity among Muslims, Ayatollah Taskhiri noted that the unfortunate recent situation in Palestine and the crimes committed by Israeli regime is a repercussion of distancing from Qur’an.
 
“Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine” stressed the Iranian scholar and added vowed that the occupied lands will be cleansed of occupiers.
 
Top cleric called Tehran Qur’an exhibition as a courtesy to the holy book of Islam expressing hope that holding the event spreads across the globe.
