Cleric hails Islamic solidarity in Iran/ demands efforts for common interests

As the representative of the Supreme Leader in Iran’s northern Province of Golestan lauded the interfaith solidarity of the people in the region, demanded for focusing on common interests of all Islamic denominations as a logical pursuit of the people.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Zeyn-ul-Abedin Rabbani, head of the grand Islamic center in Gonbad-e Kavus, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) hailed the diversity of ethnical groups in Golestan Province as a role model for coexistence of Shia and Sunni communities the country.
 
Representative of the Supreme Leader to a region with diverse religious and ethnical groups praised the commitment of the people to cooperation and unity in the region as an achievement of the authorities and local people.
 
“This manifests the awareness of the people on high potentialities of unity and cooperation in present era” said the cleric.
 
Representative of the Supreme Leader in affairs of the Sunni community is Gonbad-e Kavus highlighted the various commonalities of Muslims stressing the logical aspect for pursuit of common interests by all Muslims.
 
In line with the diplomacy of unity in the country, the cleric noted the diversity of beliefs in each Islamic denomination and noted,” A wise person would avert any sacrilegious act towards other denominations extending his respect for different schools of thought.”
 
Iranian cleric warned of the enemies in ambush to wage war among Muslims urging Muslims to settle disagreements in advance.
