"Some 200 guests from 60 countries take part in this edition of the Islamic unity conference," stressed the International Deputy at the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought.

 
International Deputy at the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Manouchehr Mottaki in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) briefed on the ins and outs of the 31^st edition of the International Islamic unity conference to be mounted in Iranian Capital city of Tehran noting, "Some 200 guests from 60 countries announced their readiness for partaking in the 31^st edition of Islamic unity conference."

"The main standing difference between the 31^st Islamic unity conference with its previous editions sits in its title and theme," underscored the Mottaki noting the guests are chosen among prominent faces, religious thinkers, academicians, religious scholars and Muftis.

"The World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought advanced so many programs this year," underscored International Deputy at the World Forum noting Iran top unity center mounted various meetings on the theme of "Modern Islamic Civilization" in and outside of the country.

"We organize a meeting at the premise of Tehran University," stressed the unity activitst stressing another meeting was held at the premise of Zeitunde University of Tunisia and the University of Hamadar in New Delhi.

Mottaki went on to add that the world forum is about to organize a meeting as well on the same topic of "Modern Islamic Civilization" in Austria with religious thinkers and elites in attendances. 

According to the International Deputy at the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, up to know some 70 articles have been received from academicians and thinkers in different countries. 

"Some of the foresaid articles will be discussed in commissions held on the sideline of the conference and some others will be released in a book."

"We have about 40 prominent figures from different countries, including ministers, former ministers, muftis, presidents and university professors," stressed Mottaki noting another feature of this year's conference is that half of the guests are new faces, mostly univeristy professors and elites from different countries.

"We hold 8 commissions on the sideline of the conference this year," stressed the political face went on to stress," five commissions concern the theme of the conference, and three other commissions are centered on the exclusive programs and activities forwarded by the World Forum."

To the International Deputy at the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, allthese commissions are to provide thinkers and elites with an opportunity for having mutual dialogue and talks.

For the past three decades Islamic Republic of Iran has invited seasoned Islamic religious leaders and renowned clerics from all over the globe, providing them with the ground to open dialogue over the standing challenges and setbacks World of Islam wrestles with.

It is proven beyond a shadow of doubt that Islamic unity does not refer to quitting one’s path and merging all religions into one. Islamic unity refers to rapprochement and solidarity among Muslims unifying them in spite of their religious differences against Islam’s enemies and foes.  

The phrase of “unity between Shiite and Sunni” places accentuation on the standing commonalities among religious sects and denominations, urging Muslims to close to each other via resorting to the existing joint takes and team up for persevering the divine religion of Islam; inasmuch as, they are faced with common foes. In actual fact, Islam’s enemies are against the two foresaid denominations. Considering that, Muslims should rely on their commonalities so as to stand against the enemies resorting to their shared principles for defending themselves.
