Iranian Member of Parliament called for more media activity on realization of Islamic proximity objectives calling Muslim elites to open ways for cooperation among them.

Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi, recently appointed as the first chair of the world union of proximity thinkers in the world of Islam, attended the 23rd Press Exhibition in Tehran to highlight importance of Islamic proximity pursued by the Islamic Republic of Iran, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) has reported.
 
He referred to the numerous people enthusiastically pursuing the issue of Islamic unity and highlighted the role of media in providing the grounds for creating and boosting unity among Muslims.
 
According to the Iranian thinker in order that the objective of Islamic unity is spread and that more Muslims focus on that the domestic and foreign media should work on that target inviting Muslim world elites to open ways for cooperation and mutual understanding.
 
Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi concluded,” We can turn into an influential Islamic movement across the globe once we move in the light of unity and cooperation.”
