The Ahlulbayt Islamic Society of the United Kingdom (AIM) strongly condemned the ongoing repression and marginalization of the Shia majority in Bahrain by an authoritarian regime.

The Prisoners Affairs Authority of Bahrain reports an escalation in tensions between Bahraini security forces and Shia citizens following mourning ceremonies for the anniversary of Imam Jawad’s (AS) martyrdom.

Fresh protests erupted in Pakistan’s city of Lahore to condemn the ongoing violence and killing of the Shia community in Parachinar Kurram District. Similar protests were held in other cities across Pakistan as the violence against the Shia residents in Parachinar continues.
