A top Iranian official has warned that Tehran will respond in kind and will consider legal ways if its ships are seized.

An Iranian oil tanker is to head back to the country following a failed attempt by the United States to steal the cargo, Iran’s embassy in Greece announced on Saturday.

According to a statement issued by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) on Tuesday, the Greek government ordered the release of the ship and its cargo even though Washington was exerting sustained efforts to do otherwise.
