More-than-expected fall in US crude stocks help push prices up

 Addressing the 20th Session of the Council of Ministers of D-8, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran is involved in creating the foundations of free trade and would soon finalize the Free Trade Area (FTA) Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Iranian Energy Minister and Chairman of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan, Ali Akbar Mehrabian, arrived in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, to attend the second high-level summit on water, titled "International Decade for Action on Water for Sustainable Development, 2018 to 2028.

It has been said that Iran and Russia have very high capacities in terms of oil and gas reserves and geopolitical position, and together they can create new equations in the field of international economy and energy sector.

The talks will be held during the upcoming visit of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak heading a high-ranking delegation.

“What I saw at this big event stunned me,” said the visiting minister.

Iran used to be the second-largest oil supplier to India, but New Delhi had to halt imports from Tehran after former US President Donald Trump withdrew from the nuclear deal with Iran and re-imposed sanctions on its oil exports.
