According to the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), the 63rd session of the specialized series "Empathetic Ummah" was held with the aim of critically examining the conceptual model of the "united Islamic Ummah" and focusing on the unity-oriented thoughts and approaches of the martyred Imam Khamenei.

In this meeting, topics such as "The martyrdom of Imam Khamenei and the future of the Islamic Ummah," "Examining the thoughts, views, and approaches of the martyred Imam in the field of Islamic unity," and "The martyred Imam; the standard-bearer of Islamic resistance and the struggle against the system of domination" were discussed by scholars and thinkers.

The martyred leader's message was the unity of the Islamic Ummah against colonialism

Liaqat Baloch, the deputy head of the Islamic Jamaat of Pakistan and a member of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in his remarks, elaborated on the personality and messages of the martyred leader, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

He said: "The martyred leader was a wise leader who spent his entire life trusting in God, was always connected to Islam, and continuously strived for the unity of Muslims."

He added: "The Islamic Revolution, which was victorious in Iran under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (may God have mercy on him), faced all colonial, hegemonic, and tyrannical forces that used every trick to destroy it. Imam Khomeini (may God have mercy on him) protected this system during his lifetime, and the martyred leader also safeguarded the Islamic Revolution until his last moment, kept the Iranian nation united, and played a very significant role in the revival of Palestine and the first qibla."

This Pakistani scholar continued: "To achieve all these goals, his first priority was the unity of the Ummah – that the Islamic world be united, whether on the front of knowledge, the front of economy, or the front of defense, and bring the entire Ummah together based on commonalities. For this reason, he presented as his message the preservation of Sunni sanctities, performing prayers behind the Imam in the House of God and the Two Holy Sanctuaries, and submission to the rulings of the Quran – a message that was very passionate and revolutionary for the unity of the Ummah."

Baloch noted: "Colonialism exists in various forms: sometimes as America, sometimes as Russia, sometimes as Europe, and also the monarchical systems in the Arab world – all are forms of colonialism. In every Islamic country, if someone acts on the surface of democracy but as an agent of colonialism, they are in practice helping to complete the colonial program."

He emphasized: "The martyred leader essentially spread the message that all human beings in the world – whether Muslims or freedom-seekers who desire an honorable and free life – must stand with perseverance against every colonial trick, whether on the front of knowledge, the front of economy, or the front of coordination and mutual priorities. On this path, the Ummah must be united against colonialism."

This member of the Supreme Council of the Proximity Forum said: "Colonial forces want to destroy our ethics, civilization, beliefs, and unity. They want us to be scattered so that they can dominate the resources, minds, and civilization of Muslims and impose their own civilization. For this reason, the revolutionary message of the martyred leader was that the Ummah must unite, the united Ummah must be formed, and the Islamic world must be united on the basis of Islam."

He added: "Global systems are becoming more unsuccessful day by day and fear Islam. For this reason, colonialism has turned to creating division in the Ummah to counter the superiority of the Islamic system. The martyred leader, with great foresight, perseverance, prudence, and scientific depth, always gave a positive message to the entire Ummah through his speeches and messages."

In conclusion, Baloch said: "God willing, this message will remain for a long time, and with God's help, colonial and hegemonic forces will be scattered, and ultimately Islam will be victorious and dominant."

Mawlawi Habibullah Hesamuddin, a prominent scholar from Afghanistan and a member of the Supreme Council of the Proximity Forum, in his remarks, elaborated on the dimensions of the martyred leader's personality. He said: "This comprehensive personality took effective steps by spending a great deal of effort and cost in strengthening Islamic brotherhood and the unity of the Islamic world."

He added: "Among the outstanding features of this great martyr was his connection with the Quran, to the extent that through a contemporary interpretation of the verses, he explained the conditions of the Islamic world and its enemies, and called Muslims to awakening, freedom, and cohesion."

Hesamuddin continued: "He was the embodiment of the verse 'And hold fast to the rope of God all together,' and made holding fast to the divine rope and uniting the hearts of believers among his priorities. He never submitted to oppressors and realized the verse 'And do not lean toward those who do wrong.' He never bowed his head to compromise with the enemy, neither for worldly wealth, nor for power, nor in the face of the bullying of colonialism and arrogance."

He emphasized: "Loyalty to Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinian nation, and the Resistance Axis was another hallmark of this martyr. He loved them as part of himself and stood by them. In the True Promise 1 and 2 operations, he made the hearts of Muslims happy and, after 70 years of oppression, planted a targeted arrow from Muslims into the heart of Israel."

This prominent scholar noted: "Anti-colonialism and anti-oppression were the guiding principles of this martyr's life. He clearly defined the line between the oppressor and the oppressed, and emphasized the necessity of resistance against oppressors."

The martyred Imam's strategy brought about the enemy's defeat on all fronts

Mawlawi Abdul Raouf Tawana, the head of the Shahid Tawana Cultural Institute in Afghanistan and a member of the General Assembly of the Proximity Forum, in his remarks, offered condolences to the Iranian nation on the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader and elaborated on the dimensions of the personality and intellectual framework of the martyred Imam, Ayatollah Khamenei.

He said: "The martyrdom of the Supreme Leader, in the holding of conferences and great gatherings, once again demonstrated the reality of the enemy's isolation. If we carefully study his life and intellectual framework, it becomes clear what a lofty position this dear figure of the Islamic Ummah holds."

He added: "His performance over 37 years of assuming the leadership and guardianship of the resistance front and the Islamic Republic of Iran shows that in the path of Ummah-building, religious limitations never led to neglect of Sunni brothers. Just as he paid attention to Hezbollah's structures, he also gave special attention to Islamic Jihad and the Islamic Resistance of Hamas, and did not neglect the dissemination of Sunni resources."

This Afghan scholar continued: "He was a figure who translated the exegesis 'Fi Zilal al-Quran' of the martyred Sayyid Qutb into Persian – an exegesis that holds a high position among Islamic movements. He also supported unity currents, including the rapprochement movement, and great conferences were held in the Islamic Republic of Iran with the presence of leaders and elite figures of the Islamic world from both Shia and Sunni."

Tawana noted: "The enemy's effort was to divide the Islamic Ummah into religious and ethnic geographies, but His Eminence's strategies, derived from the Quran, Sunnah, and the Ahl al-Bayt, did not allow the Islamic Ummah to be divided into ethnic geographies. He gave continuous warnings about the alignment of fascist currents and ethnic nationalists with hegemonic networks in the dissolution of the united Islamic Ummah and the division of Muslims into Arab and non-Arab, Turk, Kurd, and Persian."

He emphasized: "Just as the Holy Prophet (PBUH) connected the Ummah like beads of a rosary on the thread of monotheism, the message of the martyred Imam was also a call around the axis of 'Indeed this, your Ummah, is one Ummah.' He made the Ummah aware that Islamic currents should not be influenced by deviant movements and enemy propaganda, and that the capable hands of Shia and Sunni should act in unity to protect the united body of the Islamic Ummah."

This member of the Proximity Forum said: "One of the important hallmarks of the leader's intellectual framework was abhorrence of tyranny, as the Quran says: 'So whoever disbelieves in tyranny and believes in God.' As long as divine currents are not in abhorrence of tyranny, they cannot be victorious on the front of truth. He emphasized that the system of domination, headed by the United States, is in an all-out war with the Islamic Ummah, and there is no day when figures of the Ummah are not assassinated."

He added: "In the sociology of this noble verse, which refers to the front of hypocrisy, he emphasized that the front of hypocrisy must be recognized and abhorrence of tyranny must be declared – from the rituals of Hajj to all spheres of life, in politics, religion, culture, and society, no trace of tyranny should exist in the programs of the resistance front."

Tawana noted: "With this strategy of the martyred Imam, in the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, where everyone was on the same front, what the enemy had dreamed of was not realized, and the enemy's strategies were not implemented. Although we suffered great losses and casualties, and commanders and leaders of the resistance front were martyred one after another, the strategy derived from the intellectual framework of the Prophet (PBUH) was that if a leader was martyred, another leader would take his place – just as in the Battle of Mu'tah, if Ja'far was martyred, Abdullah ibn Rawahah would take over the leadership of the war."

He emphasized: "Today, Gaza, with all its oppression, the enemy has not been able to disarm its mujahideen. The Yemeni brothers possess the necessary authority and grandeur, and the children of the martyred Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, as the embodiment of God's wrath, struggle against the criminal Zionist regime and the tyrannical power of America; they are alone but have not accepted humiliation. The new Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, in continuing the path of the martyred Sayyid Hassan, showed this capability and proved that the enemy has been defeated on political, military, economic, and even media fronts."

In conclusion, this Afghan scholar said: "In this unequal war, the Islamic Republic of Iran, for the first time, rubbed America's nose in the dust. Just as the mujahid nation of Afghanistan, through two decades of jihad, defeated the Americans, this defeat was once again repeated in the Islamic Republic of Iran. These martyrdoms were a great sacrifice that created a great victory in the world, and victories in economic, political, and military dimensions were achieved by the resistance front."

The martyred Imam intertwined faith and politics

Sheikh Ali Halawi, a prominent scholar from Lebanon, in his remarks, elaborated on the dimensions of the personality of the martyred Imam, Ayatollah Khamenei. He said: "The personality of this martyred Imam combined religious authority and political leadership, and one of his prominent characteristics was a deep belief in national independence."

He added: "He believed that human dignity cannot be achieved except through having free will, and for this reason, he emphasized scientific and technological self-sufficiency."

This Lebanese scholar continued: "The martyred Imam, in his speeches, paid special attention to Islamic and cultural identity, and emphasized that nations that have forgotten their civilization are more vulnerable to instability than others. For this reason, he always insisted on authenticity alongside modern life."

Halawi noted: "The Resistance Axis was part of his main vision, and he believed that resistance against pressures is not merely a political option, but a moral principle that preserves the dignity of nations and their right to self-determination."

He emphasized: "Attention to knowledge and culture was another feature of his personality. He had sufficient knowledge of literature and Islamic sciences, and in crisis management, he had great patience and precise planning for quick reactions."

In conclusion, this prominent scholar said: "In his speeches, he greatly emphasized scientific research and considered universities as one of the tools of the movement of the Islamic Ummah. May the spirit of the martyred Imam and all martyrs be blessed with divine mercy."
