Preparing Spiritually and Mentally for Ramadan

According to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), the Ansarullah leader said that his address was intended to help prepare minds and hearts for the blessed month of Ramadan. He noted that, by God’s grace, the people of Yemen are among the nations that show the greatest reverence for Ramadan and excel in observing and honoring it.
He emphasized that welcoming Ramadan enables believers to enter the month with full readiness and benefit from its immense opportunities. Muslims understand the sanctity and profound virtue of Ramadan, the month in which the Qur’an was revealed. Ramadan, he said, must be viewed as a transformative opportunity for one’s soul and life.
Facing the Greatest Intellectual War in Human History
Al‑Houthi stated that the Muslim Ummah faces numerous challenges across the Arab and Islamic world—an unfortunate reality. Yet, with the divine blessings granted for the reform of the Ummah, change is possible. He warned that Muslims sometimes act according to desires or cultural influences contrary to divine teachings, thereby losing the guiding impact of God’s commandments on their lives and future.
He reminded that some of the greatest victories in Islamic history occurred during Ramadan, and thus the month should be regarded as a month of jihad.
He added that strong willpower leads a person toward fulfilling great and sacred responsibilities and protects them from negligence. Disregarding God’s commands, he said, brings misery and severe consequences in this world and the hereafter. The Ummah has suffered losses due to neglecting its responsibilities.
The Ansarullah leader warned that enemies seek, through soft warfare, to sever the Ummah’s connection with divine guidance so that no protective bond remains. Their wars and corruption aim to bring misery to the Ummah. Today, he said, humanity faces the greatest intellectual war since the beginning of human society. Submission to enemies and followers of Satan has deeply affected the current state of the Islamic world, rooted in weak upbringing and lack of awareness and insight.
A Critical Turning Point in Regional Developments
Badr al‑Din al‑Houthi stressed that many people ignore the dangers threatening the Ummah, and such negligence is harmful. Turning away from responsibilities and failing to understand realities is dangerous. He said Muslims must recognize that they face hostile enemies—malicious forces, Zionists, and their American, Israeli, and British branches.
He noted that regional developments have reached a decisive point, with attempts underway to impose a new equation of domination on the Ummah. The Israeli enemy continues to commit crimes against the people of Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria, and current events in the region fall within this framework.
Defending Gaza, Lebanon, and Islamic Sanctities
He criticized those who blame the resistance fighters in Gaza and Lebanon while Israel continues its aggression against Al‑Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam’s greatest sanctities. Israel seeks to erase Islamic heritage in Palestine, destroy homes, and displace people. It aims to annex the West Bank and eliminate Palestinian presence there, openly disregarding all agreements, including Oslo.
He added that Israel continues its massacres in Gaza, and the siege has made life unbearably difficult for Palestinians. Israel tortures Palestinian prisoners and has activated collaborators inside Gaza—an extremely dangerous phenomenon. Meanwhile, weapons continue to flow to Israel, and settlers are being armed, while efforts are made to disarm those defending their own land.
Iran’s Position Is Strong and Steadfast
Al‑Houthi said that Israel pressures Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah while simultaneously strengthening its own military capabilities. Israeli aggression in Lebanon has reached the point of spraying farmlands with toxic chemicals—an act of complete shamelessness. He questioned what connection exists between a farmer and Hezbollah’s weapons.
He noted that despite the positions of groups controlling Damascus, Israeli aggression in Syria continues. Israel, with U.S. support, seeks dominance over all nations, focusing particularly on the Islamic Republic of Iran, which stands as the first barrier against them. Iran’s stance, he emphasized, is strong and steadfast, and the active presence of the Iranian people after recent events has been highly significant. Anyone with a trace of humanity, he said, cannot accept imposed aggression and domination. The United States continues sending weapons to Israel in preparation for the next round of conflict.
The Epstein Case Exposed a Zionist Network
The Ansarullah leader also referred to the scandalous Jeffrey Epstein case, saying that the documents exposed a Zionist network involved in horrific crimes against children and young girls during satanic rituals. He stressed the importance of paying close attention to the Epstein files, as they revealed one of the breeding grounds of Zionism where leaders and elites were shaped. These documents exposed disgraceful crimes committed by political elites and serve as evidence of the enemies’ efforts to spread corruption and moral deviation.
