Muslim Scholars and Thinkers Emphasize:

The Position of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Palestinian Cause Will Not Change

The webinar was held on Tuesday evening, December 1, organized by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, with the participation of prominent figures from the Islamic world.
The Position of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Palestinian Cause Will Not Change
Sheikh Ghazi Hanina (Head of the Gathering of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon)
1-He stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran, under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, has from the very beginning of the Revolution been a defender of the oppressed and downtrodden worldwide.
2-Even before the Islamic Revolution led by Imam Khomeini, Iran’s position was clear: support for Palestine. Imam Khomeini’s fatwas on Palestine and resistance were explicit, and this support has now become a serious threat to the Zionist regime.
3-He emphasized that Iran’s official stance is fixed and will never change. As long as Zionist aggression against Palestine continues, Iran will stand with the Palestinian people and resistance groups such as Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
4-He lamented that many Arab countries have abandoned the Palestinian cause, while Iran’s leadership and people continue to stand firmly by Palestinians, affirming their right to return and establish an independent state.
5-He noted that Iran’s position is even enshrined in its constitution and repeatedly affirmed by Ayatollah Khamenei and other officials.
6-He concluded by thanking God, Iran’s leadership, and its people for enduring hardships in support of Palestine, as well as resistance in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq.
Sheikh Muhammad Saleh (Spokesman of the Palestinian Scholars Council)
1-He saluted Iran’s leadership and people, stressing that Iran’s stance toward Palestine and the oppressed has always been firm.
2-He said Iran stands against the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza and confronts its supporters, including the United States.
3-He warned of the “new Abrahamic religion” promoted by Zionists as a conspiracy against Islam and the Qur’an, aiming to erase Islamic identity for future generations.
4-He concluded that despite sanctions and threats, Iran seeks dignity both for itself and for oppressed nations.
Dr. Yahya Abu Zakariya (Algerian Thinker)
1-He noted that Iran, both in the Arab world and globally, faces conspiracies from Western powers and global Zionism.
2-He recalled Imam Khomeini’s fatwa during the Pahlavi era mobilizing all capacities to support Palestine and resistance.
3-He said Iran has paid a heavy price since the Revolution to defend the oppressed, preferring the Qur’an, Islam, and the Prophet over alignment with Western powers.
4-He emphasized that today the Arab world faces two projects: resistance and compromise. Iran has always stood with resistance, making sacrifices for the oppressed.
5-He stressed Iran’s opposition to Western and Zionist plots, highlighting Ayatollah Khamenei’s decisive leadership.
6-He concluded: “Iran seeks neither surrender nor war. As the Leader has said, we are a people who do not accept humiliation.”
Dr. Noor Adel (Iraqi MP)
1-He said: “We are in a broad war with the Zionist regime, and we believe in God’s promise of victory.”
2-He recalled sacrifices of many martyrs from Hezbollah, Yemen, Iran, and others whose goal was the elimination of the Zionist regime.
3-He noted Iran has endured nearly 50 years of economic blockade, yet continues to stand firm alongside resistance movements.
4-He emphasized that this struggle transcends sectarian divides, with both Sunni and Shia fighters martyred.
5-He concluded that victory depends not on weapons but on steadfastness, as shown in the Al-Aqsa Flood operation and historically in Karbala.
Mawlawi Hashimi (Leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, Balochistan, Pakistan)
1-He stressed that Iran has long supported the causes of the Islamic Ummah, especially Palestine, based on religious and national principles.
2-He highlighted the formation of the “Front of Islamic Dignity,” a coalition of countries and movements defending the region against Israeli aggression.
3-He explained that Iran’s support for resistance is not temporary but a strategic choice rooted in ideology and politics, aiming for regional security and stability.
4-He said this “Axis of Resistance” seeks to strengthen deterrence, coordinate efforts, and counter Zionist hegemony.
5-He concluded: “True peace will only come when Israel ends its aggression, occupation ceases, and Palestinians regain their rights. Iran continues to support resistance politically, militarily, and in the media. The Front of Islamic Dignity is today a loud voice calling for truth and justice, showing that united nations can defend themselves.”
