Hamas Statement on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People

Hamas welcomed all official and popular positions supporting the Palestinian cause and urged united efforts to back the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people to end occupation.
Hamas Statement on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People
The statement declared: “We call upon the Islamic Ummah and free peoples of the world to mark November 29 as a global day to renew the popular movement against Zionist occupation, its aggressions, violations of the ceasefire in Gaza, and its escalating campaign of terror in the West Bank and occupied Quds City.”
It emphasized that nearly eight decades of colonial occupation have been accompanied by massacres and systematic crimes against defenseless Palestinians, exposing the occupation’s aggression against the people, land, identity, principles, and sanctities of Palestine. The statement noted that Israel deliberately violates ceasefires, destroys infrastructure, blocks aid, and intensifies settlement and Judaization projects in the West Bank and Quds City, in clear violation of international law.
Hamas reaffirmed several key points:
1-Palestine, with Quds City and Al-Aqsa Mosque at its heart, will always remain Palestinian land, with no legitimacy or sovereignty for the occupying regime. Liberation is not only a Palestinian responsibility but a shared political, legal, humanitarian, and moral duty of all free peoples, alongside Arab and Islamic nations.
2-The Palestinian cause is a just national struggle to end the world’s longest and most brutal colonial-settler occupation, which threatens regional and global stability.
3-The Palestinian people’s fixed national rights, foremost among them the right to resist in all forms—including armed resistance—are legitimate under international law and cannot be compromised.
4-Decades of crimes, backed by U.S. and Western support, have failed to extinguish Palestinian rights or the flame of resistance. Palestine remains an eternal name and a nightmare for the occupiers.
5-Gaza, despite two years of war, genocide, and famine, continues to embody legendary resilience. On this day, Gaza’s voice calls for an end to aggression, the opening of crossings, the entry of aid, the lifting of the blockade, reconstruction, and the end of occupation.
6-Hamas welcomed the global popular movement in support of Palestine and Gaza during two years of aggression and called for a “second wave” of worldwide protests and actions in capitals and squares, reinforcing solidarity with the right to freedom and independence.
7-Finally, Hamas urged the Islamic Ummah and free peoples to mark November 29 as a day of renewed global mobilization against Zionist occupation, ceasefire violations in Gaza, and escalating terror in the West Bank and Jerusalem, pressing the occupiers to open crossings, allow aid, and begin reconstruction.
