Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi: Islamic Republic of Iran Has Made Great Sacrifices in Support of the Palestinian Cause

Reflecting on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar, al-Houthi described him as a symbol of Palestinian resilience and devotion to God. He noted that Sinwar’s legacy of struggle and awareness continues to inspire generations.
Al-Houthi commended all resistance fronts, especially Hezbollah, for their sacrifices, and reiterated Iran’s central role in supporting Gaza and the broader resistance movement.
He also honored the sacrifices of the Yemeni people, particularly the recent martyrdom of Major General Muhammad Abdulkarim al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces, who played a significant role in supporting Gaza. Al-Houthi emphasized that Yemen’s armed forces and people have stood firm, offering their lives in defiance of U.S. efforts to isolate the Palestinian people.
On the regional front, al-Houthi highlighted the failure of the Zionist regime and its Western allies:
“Despite full support from the United States, Western powers, and global Zionism, Israel failed to achieve its operational goals—especially the control of Gaza and the dismantling of the resistance.”
He pointed to the prisoner exchange agreement as a major defeat for Israel, noting that the regime was unable to retrieve its captives without negotiating with the resistance. He argued that Israel could have avoided widespread destruction and escalation by entering negotiations immediately after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.
Al-Houthi concluded: “The enemy’s horrific crimes could not break the will of the Palestinian people. The prisoner exchange agreement, achieved despite Israel’s military and political backing, is a clear sign of its failure. The situation pushed the region to the brink of a major war with global consequences.”
