Iranian Official Calls for Unified Islamic Effort to Rebuild Gaza and Support Its People

“Today, Palestinian fighters are returning to their destroyed homes with their weapons in hand. We stood by them at the beginning of Al-Aqsa Flood, and we continue to support them now—after a ceasefire that marks the humiliating surrender of the Zionist regime to the resistance.”
Akhtari described the collapse of Israeli propaganda and the growing global outrage against the occupying regime: “The world is witnessing an unprecedented wave of condemnation. Israel is now deeply isolated, weakened by military defeats and the loss of strategic assets.”
He called this shift a major victory for the resistance and cited a Quranic verse encouraging believers to remain steadfast in the face of oppression, affirming that divine promises of victory are being fulfilled.
Addressing the dire conditions in Gaza, Akhtari said: “After so many martyrs—children, students, families—the survivors now face the ruins of schools, universities, and hospitals. Their eyes are turned toward the Islamic Ummah for help.”
He called on all nations and conference participants to take concrete action: “Let us build hospitals, provide water, electricity, bread, and meet the basic needs of Gaza’s people. The Islamic Republic of Iran has stood by Palestine since the beginning of the revolution and will continue to do so.”
Akhtari stressed the importance of coordination among Muslim countries: “This conference must produce actionable strategies for supporting Palestine. With over thirty nations present, we have the opportunity to turn solidarity into real impact.”
He concluded with a message of faith and resolve: “If we stand firm in the path of God, dignity and greatness will be granted to the faithful. Let us work together to realize the honor and well-being of the Palestinian people.”
