“In the latest wave of aggression, more than 19,000 students have been killed. The massacre of innocents has intensified. We are at a historic juncture where global powers seek nothing but their own interests. Our brothers must stand firm.”
Abbas criticized Arab states that have normalized relations with Israel, arguing that such actions legitimize occupation:
“While some Arab countries have granted legitimacy to Israeli aggression, Iran stands alone in shouldering the responsibility of defending the Palestinian people. Despite the closure of the Rafah crossing and the silencing of Gaza’s voice, Iran remains a beacon of hope among nations that have chosen blindness.”
He praised Iran’s regional and global role: “If Tehran replaced Geneva as the center of global decision-making, the world’s destiny would change. Today’s Arab leaders resemble Ukraine—walking the path of dependency.”
Abbas also addressed international pressure on Iran: “Snapback mechanisms, sanctions, and IAEA oversight have not only targeted the Iranian government but also its noble people and leadership. Yet, the Islamic Republic has done everything within its power to support the Palestinian cause and the resistance axis.”
He concluded with a call for unity: “The Ummah is a collective of Muslim nations that must stand together. Sadly, we are fragmented, and this division is deeply regrettable. Iran’s Supreme Leader has repeatedly emphasized that survival and victory depend on forming a unified Islamic Ummah. This is the only path to resisting global domination and securing the future of Muslim nations.”
