“Al-Aqsa Flood was not merely a military operation—it was a symbol of resistance, dignity, and the unwavering resolve of a besieged people who refused to live under perpetual occupation.”
The statement described the operation as a historic turning point that shattered the myth of Israeli invincibility and reignited global resistance against colonial oppression. Despite Gaza’s devastation, the Council affirmed that its spirit remains unbroken: “The sacrifices of Gaza’s people have exposed the hypocrisy of global powers and forced the world to confront the reality of Israel’s ongoing crimes.”
The Council emphasized five key points:
Al-Aqsa Flood marked a global awakening, dismantling the illusion of Israeli supremacy and reviving the spirit of resistance. Genocide in Gaza continues, in blatant violation of international law and humanitarian norms, with mass killings, starvation, and destruction carried out without accountability. Global conscience is stirring, as voices of students, unions, artists, clergy, and ordinary citizens rise across continents against Zionist violence. Governments must act decisively. The time for neutrality has passed.
The Council calls for: Full economic, cultural, and diplomatic boycott of Israel; Expulsion of Israel from the United Nations; Prosecution of Israeli leaders for war crimes at the International Criminal Court; Protection of humanitarian missions, including freedom flotillas aiming to break the Gaza blockade.
The Ummah must rise in unity. The spirit of Al-Aqsa Flood reminds all Muslim nations that freedom is not achieved through compromise or Western dictates, but through steadfast faith, solidarity, and justice-driven resistance.
The Council urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and ASEAN to adopt a unified and active stance to end the genocide and establish an international mechanism to protect Palestinians.
It also called on Muslim scholars, researchers, and youth to channel their knowledge and innovation toward restoring the dignity and strength of the Islamic Ummah.
“Al-Aqsa Flood was not just an attack—it was the cry of a people abandoned by the world. Two years later, that cry has become a call for global awakening.”
The Malaysian Islamic Council reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and pledged to continue all political, humanitarian, and intellectual efforts until justice, freedom, and dignity are achieved.
