Amnesty International has also stressed the need to abide by the arrest warrants issued by the ICC and to seek to hold the perpetrators of genocide in Gaza accountable before local courts.
Netanyahu will meet US President Donald Trump on Tuesday evening at the White House to discuss a number of issues, including the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
This is Netanyahu’s first foreign visit after the ICC issued an arrest warrant last November against him and outgoing Defence Minister, Yoav Gallant, on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip.
